Pleading

Pleading
By Allie Marie

These hands I hold
they will unfold.
These lips are weak.
They dare to speak.
My heart’s content
turns irrelevant.
My mind is on ice.
It will suffice.
It’s you I need.
It’s you I plead.
Let go of me.
I’m on my knees.
