Liar

 Liar

By Allie Marie

I don’t find you

to easy to please.

You paint my reflection

smudged on stained glasses.

You make a plaque underneath

with our names.

Crowds come in

looking for a heart.

You tell my story

prescribed by your precise art.

You feign a tale

with our names.

You can imagine

all you like

you little liar

because  you don’t know

across the bay

I’ll do the same.
