Melted

Melted
By Allie Marie

All that is left to pick up
is the ice that melted away
and if you can’t hold it in your hands,
there is nothing left to plan.

I always aimed to please.
These words haunted to achieve.
The dice were rolled
and now I guess I’m free.

We’re plagued with superstition
and our tiny bigger vision.
The ice melted away.
The water we must learn how to save.
