Foolishness

Foolishness
By Allie Marie

Whisked into your foolishness.
Call my name again, again, and again.
I’ll do all the things you ask –
the same things you say I can’t do.
Push me aside
in your spiderweb of lies.
Call it something different.
Pretend you only criticize again, again, and again.
Tell yourself I’m too innocent
to even know the difference.
