Blood  Lines

Blood Lines

By Allie Marie

We’re strangers that share a name.

Our lose ends are tied by curved blood lines.

I think we have the same nose
and same backwards smile.
Every few years or so we meet
always the same way.
Our hands speak loud;
our mouths mechanical.
But, our veins –
they hold hope.
