Don’t Leave

Don’t Leave

By Allie Marie

One step from tears,

I told you don’t you dare leave.

We tend to act on superstition

for the art to claim ourselves as free.

We’re not just bound by what we

learned to be.

I need more than just a glance.

Fear deserves a chance.

You’ve made a begger out of me.

Something I swore I’d never be.
